Cookie Policy

Last updated: 29.06.2026

This Policy explains how Vitra (the “Service”) uses cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB).

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. Similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) work the same way and are covered by this Policy.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary

Required for the Service to function. Without them you cannot sign in or use core features. Includes:

  • session token (authentication);
  • CSRF protection;
  • UI preferences (language stored as vitra.lang);
  • shopping-list checkbox state stored locally.

Functional

Remember your choices (collapsed cards, recently viewed plans). No personal identification.

Analytics (anonymised)

Aggregated metrics to understand which features work — page views, button clicks. Data is anonymised; we don't link it to your identity.

Marketing

Currently we do not use marketing or advertising cookies.

3. Third-party cookies

When you sign in via Google, Google may set its own cookies for the OAuth flow. The payment provider may set cookies during checkout. Such cookies are governed by the respective third-party policies.

4. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will break authentication. You can also clear app-side localStorage from your browser's developer tools.

5. Changes

We will update this Policy when the set of cookies changes. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version.
